March 14, 2005 Minutes from the Spring AGM are now posted in the forms and information section. --------------------------- March 1, 2005 La Crosse AGM Time: 12:00pm for Colleigiate Teams and 1:00pm for everyone else Where: Cartwright Center Room #259 on UW-La Crosse's Campus Directions --------------------------- Feb. 24, 2005 To all High School Coaches/Administrators, Krista Glauner will be giving a presentation and leading a discussion on high school rugby and its current relationship with the Wisconsin Rugby Football Union. The presentation will also introduce the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association and the future of high school rugby as a varsity sport. The presentation will be made at the Union's Spring General Meeting to be held in Lacrosse on March 5th. The presentation is based on the information Krista has gathered through research and interviews. At the conclusion of the presentation, important decisions will be made that will effect the relationship between the Union, the WIAA and High School Rugby for years to come. You do not have to attend the entire meeting, but we are asking for you to attend the presentation which will begin promptly at 1:45pm. Your attendance and input on this matter will be greatly appreciated. The men will go from 12:30-3pm and the women from 1-3pm. The camp will be held at Valley Fields which is outside. Be sure to wear layers. Restrooms will be available to chage clothes. -------------------------------- Feb. 15, 2005 The Point Collegiate (men and women) Select Side camp will be on Saturday, Feb. 19th from 8am-12pm . The men will go first (from 8-10am) followed by the women (from 10-Noon). This was the only gym time we could get. Directions to Points Gym: The camp will be held in Berg Gym, which is on the corner of 4th and Reserve. There are two places to park; in a small lot on the corner of 4th and Isadore by the field houses, or in the large lot across the street from the field houses by the Science Building. Meters should be free on the weekends. Directions to Point: From North on Hwy 51: Traveling south on Hwy 51 take exit 161, which is Business 51. At 3rd stop light take a left onto 4th St., field houses are on the left. From South on Hwy 51: Traveling north on Hwy 51 take exit 158, which is Hwy 10 west. Follow 10 west for at least 2 miles until Fremont St. Turn right onto Fremont St. Continue until the stop sign. At the stop sign turn left into the parking lot. The field houses are across the street. From Easton Hwy 10: Traveling on Hwy 10 west-follow directions from the south after "on Hwy 10 west". From West on Hwy 10: Stay on Hwy 10 East going into Stevens Point. Turn left onto Fremont St. Take Fremont until stop sign. Turn left at stop sign into the parking lot. Field houses are across the street.
