9-22-03 We've had some changes to the site and, bottom line, it isn't ready for the Fall season. Unfortunately, we won't have League Standings available. Does anybody want to volunteer to collect all the results off the e-groups list and compile them in a document and post on the site? ------------------------------------------ 8-20-03 The Wisconsin Men's Select Side lost two matches this past weekend in Tier One play, losing to CARFU on Saturday in a very close match (had the lead at half time) and losing by a considerable margin to Michigan on Sunday. Ohio won the Championship. The Women combined with other LAUs to form a combined side. They overcame the lack of having played together to win their last game, boding well for the future.Full Women's results here. ------------------------------------------ 7-10-03 Men's select-side info, camps etc. has been released. Read it , and get players involved. ------------------------------------------ 7-1-03 United States of America Rugby Football Union's (USARFU) will provide technical and administrative staffing to the 2003 Marquette University Skill's, Drill's and Thrill's U-19 and youth camp to be held in Milwaukee, July 18th and 19th, 2003 In addition to assistance in programming and logistics, USARFU's involvement means that experienced players will be given personal evaluations and that some players will be looked at for invitations to USARFU boys and girls U-19 Eagle development camps to be held later in the summer. Scott Novack Manager, Youth & Technical Development, USA Rugby will head up the USARFU corps. The Wisconsin Rugby Union, National Youth Sports Program and the Marquette Women will team up with USARFU to provide rudimentary rugby training to 300-400 7 through 12 year olds.
